Amber (Waynnson Rosie of Amberquest) has been mated with FTCH Poolgreen Farlow Ben (Ted), one of Will Clulee latest trialling dogs. We chose Ted because of his ability and style. I first saw Ted run in a North West Counties Field Trial Association trial at Barnacre where he was made up to Field Trial Champion. He performed superbly and retrieved a difficult runner over a wall and into thick cover which had the gallery and other competitors congratulating Will.
Ted gained a Diploma of Merit at the 2012 Cocker Championship and qualified again in 2013 for the championship at Sandringham. We made the trip down to watch and Ted was one of the top dogs after day 1. Unfortunately he was put out for pegging a bird, as many others were. There is no doubting Ted's quality, having produced FTWs already, and we're hoping the pups inherit his style and pace.
